Cegema, a wholly owned subsidiary of Swiss Life (SLHN:VX) is using Salesforce technology and Apsynergy to configure and develop online services for insurance policy holders.

Online questionnaires connected to Salesforce
Apsynergy delivered online questionnaire functionality, powered by Visual Workflow in the context of Salesforce Community Cloud, allowing future policy holders to fill in questionnaires, which will in turn allow Cegema to provide the most adequate health insurance coverage to individuals. When the information contained in the questionnaire enters Salesforce, automation kicks in to allows Cegema employees to screen future policy holders based on information provided.

Previously, the process was only partly online – Questionnaires had to be filled in by the insurance broker or on paper. Apsynergy designed a solution to put this process online by leveraging the Salesforce Community Cloud which handles security, login, logic to handle record access and the User Interface. The sequence of questions is handled by Visual Workflow.

Portal for corporate customers
How can large corporate customers of Cegema add new beneficiaries, manage policy beneficiaries, change personal details online? the Salesforce Community Cloud, configured and enhanced by Apsynergy, allows HR staff to manage policy holders and beneficiaries. This is made possible by configuring and extending the Napili template, part of Community Cloud. Apsynergy leverages out of the box configuration possibilities as well as custom development of Lightning Component technology which are embedded within the Napili Template. This Lightning Component allows the HR staff member to add a policy holder as well as a beneficiaries on the same screen (1 policy holder and N beneficiaries).
